Mobile Office Internet: 3 Ways to get connected

When preparing your mobile office for the next job, the last thing you want is to be waiting for internet connection before you can get started. Solidifying your internet plan in advance will go a long way toward getting your team ready to work on day one. Here are three ways to make sure you can get connected when the job starts.

1. ORDER A PRE-WIRED DATA HUB

A pre-wired data hub is the best option for non-electricians who would otherwise require a professional set up mobile office network. Ordering your mobile office pre-wired means you can get connected right away without the hassle or delays of vendors and setup. Even offices that have multiple floors can be online in minutes with a single ISP access point.

2. HIRE A WIRING VENDOR

Many companies offer wiring services for mobile offices and can set up your internet connection for you. While this option can save your team the time and energy, it can be expensive and risky if the vendor is not experienced in wiring modular buildings. Additionally, any damage to your office trailer during the installation would likely result in repair charges at the end of your lease. Make sure to find a vendor with proven experience in mobile office installations.

3. WIRE THE OFFICE YOURSELF

If you’re familiar with wiring a modular office, wiring your workspace yourself can be an inexpensive option. However, if you’re not properly trained, wiring an office yourself can cause injuries, delays and damage the unit. Even if your team has experienced electricians and experts in internet setup, getting a pre-wired office is usually a safer bet.

CONNECT YOUR MOBILE OFFICE

Selecting the best way to wire and connect your mobile office comes with many considerations. Ultimately you should select the option that will keep your team safe, comfortable and ready to work. Contact our team of experts for more information on getting your mobile office connected for success.
